In the world of luxury travel and fine wine, few companies manage to blend passion, expertise, and unforgettable experiences quite like Kikico. Recently crowned with the Prestige Award “Wine Tasting Experience of the Year 2024,” this standout agency has been recognized for its outstanding contributions to the wine tourism industry—curating bespoke journeys that immerse travelers in the rich culture, history, and flavor of the world’s most renowned wine regions.
From intimate vineyard tours in Porto to exclusive tastings in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Kikico has redefined what it means to travel through wine. Behind this success lies a dedicated woman whose vision goes far beyond traditional travel planning—it’s about storytelling, connection, and authenticity.
I had the chance to meet Kristine Mansuy at the radio show Emissão Conversa Fiada, the visionary behind the brand, to learn more about her journey, the impact of winning the award, and what’s next for wine lovers seeking their next great adventure.

« I studied sommelier training and worked for several years in the wine, hospitality, and restaurant industries. After gaining hands-on experience at Canadian vineyards—including the launch of a major project in 2016 in Quebec’s Eastern Townships—I decided it was time to start my own business. I founded an agency focused on wine events and customized vineyard tours. We initially operated only in Canada, but since 2023 we’ve expanded to offer tailor-made wine tours across Europe, including France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. »
« My deep knowledge of wine, combined with extensive travel and participation in international wine tourism conferences, made it clear to me that this sector was growing quickly. I also discovered many lesser-known destinations that, in my opinion, are set to become the next must-visit wine regions. For me, leading the way in Quebec’s wine tourism industry felt like a natural and exciting next step. »

« Each tour is different, tailored to client preferences, but generally includes visits to 2–3 wineries per day. A typical day might begin with a private vineyard tour, followed by lunch featuring local cuisine paired with regional wines. The afternoon continues with more winery visits, often blending boutique producers with prestigious estates. Guests explore terroirs, grape varieties, winemaking techniques, and more. Our guide ensures smooth transport and returns clients to their accommodation at the end of the day. We also offer multi-day itineraries for those wanting a deeper dive. »
